Welcome to SPAN 545: 20th and 21st Century Latin American Literature and Culture.  The topic for this semester's seminar is "Latin America in Theory / Theory in Latin America."

This is a special blog dedicated to the discussion of readings for our class. All students will be expected to post a 200-250 word response to one of the required readings for the week, due by midnight the Tuesday before class. In addition, you will be expected to post a comment on a minimum of two other posts each week, due by midnight on the Tuesday following class. You are also welcome to post any additional comments or links that would benefit others.
